Atlanta, Georgia, December 19, 2013 -Parents who love the popular music genre dubstep now have a new album to spin, and this one’s just for children.  DJ and actor Hans Daniels, aka DJ Hans Solo, is proud to announce his new album “Dubstep for Kids,” now available on iTunes. DJ Hans Solo was inspired to release the album  after watching his 21 month old son shake, move, and go bananas over the wobble bass sounds exhibited by such artists as Skrillex and Flux Pavillion “Dubstep Kids” is his first album for children and features a dubstep re-imagining of classic nursery rhymes.

“Dubstep for Kids” is in the tradition of rock lullaby cds such as “Rock-a-Bye-Baby,”  and is an introduction to dubstep for the young. Dubstep originated in the 1990s’s and is characterized  by its use of drum machines, synthesizers and keyboards.  The result is a beat-heavy mixture of sound children can dance and jump around to, and parents can find bearable.  The benefits of music for children have been proven to enhance intelligence, “help wire young brains,” and improve their ability to think and reason. Wanting to reap the benefits of music with a twist, DJ Hans Solo sought a departure from traditional lullabies and children’s CDs to offer hip parents a way to enhance their child’s music education.

“Dubstep for Kids” features dubstep versions of several traditional nursery rhymes including “Wheels on the Bus,” “If You’re Happy and You Know  It,” “Head , Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” and “Bounce Bounce Bounce,” all remixed by DJ Hans Solo. He promotes dancing and music appreciation by creating this unique combination of nursery rhymes and dubstep that entertains kids and keeps parents hip. “My son Lochlan already loves spinning records and just came alive with the beats of dubstep. I wanted to share that experience with parents across the world, and  came up with ‘Dubstep for Kids’,” stated DJ Hans Solo. “Dubstep for Kids” is available for purchase on iTunes as an album or by individual tracks at $.99 each.
