Artist, composer and producer of melodic music in all its forms, BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT has always been in love with every kind of music, since he was a little child, when he would use his Walkman to listen to cassettes and the radio…especially Radio Deejay in Italy.

In 1997, BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT discovered basic software with which to compose music. At about the same time he also discovered Trance music, enjoying its straightness and the complete lack of vocals, while he was also becoming a punk and Drum’n’Bass listener.

During university’s life, he also got acquainted with grunge, metal and especially gothic rock. His creativity resulted in two new albums between 2000 and 2004, they were respectively titled “New Era” and “Luce Blu”, which were distributed in limited quantities.

From 2005 onward, BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT he been making music on a professional level, but several aspects of his life, such as family, love and university, forced him to move far from his one main aim in life…to express his emotions through notes.

In 2010, after various failed attempts to fulfill his musical needs, he finally made up his mind to produce a serious demo song all by himself.  It wasn’t long before an independent music label accepted to produce BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT’s brand new and unmistakable “romantic gothic” style. That was how “Memories” came about, carrying all the pathos and the troubles experienced before, and which lead to a new beginning for BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT.

Besides his albums, “Chapter I: Another Morning” and “Chapter II: New Era”, currently BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT has a couple of new tracks out, among which there is “Nebula” featuring DAX.

Upon listening to “Nebula” featuring DAX, the new BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT single, I knew I was going to like it. I am a huge fan of Depeche Mode, and this song perfectly captures the classic, optimistic darkness, the angst and vocal inflections of DM, while avoiding the trap of recycled redundancy.

“Nebula” featuring DAX is sulky, stripped down, amped up, with BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT fiddling around with decibels and sonic dissonance and ramping around thunderous basslines, crunchy synths and entire aural galaxies. Listening to this wicked, pulsing, throbbing slice of electro darkness almost justifies the existence of BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT, and above all, surely makes sense of it. It’s good stuff, and turned up loud, it becomes a club-rattling monster.

Recently I’ve listened to, and reviewed many electronic music artists and have noticed a distinctive progression from their original roots, some for the better but mostly for the worst. I realize technology has matured to a level that permits artists to create infinite melodic tapestries on which to ride their sense of rhythm and emotion. Listening through their catalog, I cannot help but notices that BLUE ‘CHAOS’ LIGHT seems to only get better at doing it.

In closing, “Nebula” featuring DAX is edgy, energetic and makes you want to crank it up in the car, and groove to wherever you’re going. It hits on something that feels natural, relevant, and solid between sophisticated driving rhythms and rich sounding vocals. Grab this one, you can’t go wrong!
