Rapper Sean Breed is rapidly becoming a popular a rapper because of its unique style of rapping and the meaning included in every song he wrote. In-between his music album H.I.T.L.E.R – which is regarded as the most controversial album and song of his short career in the business – and his single entitled R.O.A.C.H, meaning Racist Officers against Civilized Humans, Sean has dropped the single “YES2DAY”.
Once again Sean Breed has chosen an infectious production by BEAT’N DA ODDZ to accompany his storytelling lyrics. His stories represent the struggle, pain, and pressure that anyone living the ghetto life deals with. Sean Breed also gives you the inspiration and motivation to make it out, be successful, and achieve your goals.
The track is one of Breed’s most complete and consistent. As usual, he has got a fire production, which more than ably supports the maturity in his delivery. On all of his releases, Sean Breed always raps with a purpose, and here once again he spits venom with his signature heavy swagger. Breed has put out great songs, and displayed over his brief career, that he has the credentials to become even greater than what some might perceive he will achieve.
Sean Breed came out the gate with a sound that was so fresh on his debut release, and he has still managed to maintain that edge here. He rides the beat almost better than he’s ever done and lyrically there is a clear maturation as well. My verdict is that the beat alone is worth the admission price, and matched together with Sean Breed’s lyrical street poetry, delivers a magical combination.
All-round this is a very good track, with some thoughtful words in Sean Breed’s unique style. He is true to the streets and packs this song with awesome word flow over a hot beat. Cop this one!
