As their name suggests, MADE N’ AMERICA consists of true red, white and blue, born and bred in the USA rock n’ roll. Based out of Los Angeles, California, this high energy, straight ahead, no non- sense pure rock n’ roll band are made up of David “Bulldog” Keckhut (Vocals), Sam Bam Koltun (Guitar), Clackers Kay (Bass) and Sammy Aliano (Drums). MADE N’ AMERICA have dropped their album “In Rock We Trust”, featuring the single “White Girl Rhythm” for which they have also published an official music video, showcasing the talents of dancer  Daimici Robert.

made-n-america-coverThose looking for innovative and sophisticated rock have totally missed the point. MADE N’ AMERICA will kick you in the teeth with this record. The quality of the songs on here is unrivaled – this is one the greatest rock n’ roll album in years – indie or major! I wasn’t expecting anything nearly as good as this album is. It’s classic rock n’ roll all the way, with good, solid performances, big choruses, tunes you’ll want to sing along with and best of all, powerful and inventive riffs.

From the moment the band kick the album off with the title track, “In Rock We Trust”, everything reverberates with great riffs, massive power chords, thick backbeats, soaring vocals, and lyrics that you can fully understand. Each and every song thereafter simply sets the standard for perfection. You’ll find no lengthy solos or other standard rock self-indulgences. Instead, the playing is the tightest you could ever pray for. Guitars, bass, and drums are fused into one fat shiny sledgehammer, swung with gleeful abandon.

The timbre of the guitars, the dense compact chords, and the rhythm breaks are calibrated and dosed to perfection. Only in the baroque music of centuries ago will you ever hear such awe-inspiring discipline and restraint, distilled into music that sounds deceptively simple. MADE N’ AMERICA’s ensemble production is a rock machine designed to attack your senses as a single, ferocious, self-contained unit. Their music is powerful, driving, and energetic because they have the magic formula for making the listener experience the same passion they pour into the creation of their music.

made-n-america-680But anyone who has only the slightest idea about the history of rock will tell you that all of the above will never quite be enough without a singer able to translate verses and choruses into throat-scorching, head banging anthems. David “Bulldog” Keckhut is such a singer. “White Girl Rhythm”, “Black Widow”, “American Made” and “All Night Long” are such anthems. After hearing these tracks, there can be no doubt that Keckhut’s voice is perfectly suited to fire-up unapologetic, testosterone-driven rock.

Long story short, for anyone out there that appreciates rock music at all, you must own this album. Music these days is so overproduced and overpitched to kids that it’s almost a crime against humanity. From the moment “In Rock We Trust” starts to the final chord it’s all classic rock and roll. “Black Widow” is my favorite song on the album. Blast it in your car and drive down an interstate. You’ll probably get a speeding ticket, but it’s worth it. Keep on rocking!
